About Finca San Jose Estate

Finca San Jose Estate is a long-established estate located in the Caldas province of central Colombia. In recent years, it has been trying to find its way in the wave of fine coffee. In addition to the coffee garden, the owner of the San Jose Estate also has the work of making rum oak barrels and making rum. One day, while filling the distillate to prepare for fermentation, something suddenly came to the mind of the owner’s wife Monsalve Botero “if I put the green beans into the oak barrels and let them fermented , can it have a different flavor? Therefore, Monsalve Botero began experimenting with various low-temperature fermentation in different ages Colombian oak barrels from 2013. Finally, they found the taste they are looking for from this year’s batch, which is different from the tradition. They succeed in making the exquisite oak-barrel-fermented beans. We are looking forward to sharing with you that this is a non-alcoholic coffee bean full of wine aroma.
